HAKKINDA

Academic and illustrator Zeynep Dağlı Curalı (1988, Ankara/Turkey) completed her undergraduate studies in Graphic Design at Bilkent University. She earned her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. To gain new and diverse experiences in design, she also attended a short-term program at IED Milano – Istituto Europeo di Design. Her academic research focuses on Visual Communication in Space, Branded Environments, and Visual Communication Design. Alongside her academic career, she continues to create illustrations and drawings.

 

She founded the brand Paper & Krafts in 2018. With an interdisciplinary design approach, her illustrations draw inspiration from abstract forms of human presence, nature, daily experiences, and imagination. She produces original illustrations created both digitally and by hand, each possessing its own unique characteristics. The digital artworks are printed using Latex and digital printing techniques, and her collections include both open and limited edition series.
